The client’s brief was to reconfigure and extend the existing home to provide a ground-floor utility and shower room, and a generous open-plan living environment.

A large single-storey rear extension was introduced to the of the property, with a small extension to the side, accommodating a utility space, a shower room and a spacious open-plan kitchen–living area. Flat roof lights were strategically placed within the flat roof to enhance the sense of volume and draw natural light deep into the plan, creating a bright, flexible living space tailored to contemporary family life.
